Our Team
Here at 4 On the Floor, we operate as a team. We plan curriculum together, train together, and help one another grow in our skills. Everyone here has a passion for what we do - helping people understand what their dogs are trying to tell them, so they can become better at communicating with them.
Kelly Citrin
CPDT-KA, FFCP, FDM, MBA
Founder & Lead Trainer
Kelly’s background in rescue is what drives her to make changes in the lives of the dogs and humans she interacts with. Her training philosophy is
“Patience, Persistence, Positive Reinforcement, Praise & Play."
She believes an integration of these concepts is key to a successful and happy human and pup. In addition to serving as the trainer for Forever Changed Animal Rescue and A Home of their Own, she volunteers for and works with several other rescues. Kelly specializes in aggression and leash reactivity, in addition to preparing pups for their CGC evaluations and training dogs for their therapy certification. She also focuses on providing proper training and socialization for puppies and rescue dogs right from the start, including supplying family training, non-competitive agility and more.
Kelly lives in Bethesda with her three rescued pit bulls, Ayla, Brutus and Sadie, and her rescue Great Pyrenees Buster. All four had been tossed away and are now living as one, big, happy family.

After over a decade of training equines, she transitioned into dog training and began working for a dog training and daycare facility. Through this experience, she was able to train Shadow to become her working service dog. As Jolie’s training journey progressed, so did her drive for more knowledge about dog behavior and her passion for helping them. Her focus is strengthening canine-caregiver bonds and finding fun and sustainable ways to build understanding, connection, and trust. She enjoys working with puppies, leash reactivity, and service dogs, and is nurturing a growing interest in scent work. Jolie is a member of the Association for Professional Dog Training (APDT) and the Pet Professional Guild (PPG). She is also an AKC Evaluator for Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and earned her certifications for Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) and Cat and Dog First Aid through American Red Cross. Liya Lachovizer
Marker (KPA) Certified
Trainer
After adopting her dog, Phoebe, Liya became interested in dog training. Using her BSc in Psychology from Ithaca College, Liya started researching about dog training until she decided to pursue it as a career. She became a certified trainer through Marker Training Academy for Dog Behavior and Modification, a force-free training school using KPA techniques in Israel, in 2022. She started taking on clients for private training at that time and also incorporated her experience of dog walking pups of all breeds and temperaments into her training. Liya is passionate about animal welfare. Seeing people use forceful and punitive methods on their dogs ultimately drove her to become a force-free trainer. She loves to help pet parents better understand their dogs and strengthen the communication between dogs and their guardians.

Yuandi Yang
Dog Walker
Yuandi's connection with dogs started at a young age. When she tried to teach her dog to follow her, she quickly realized he was frustrated and that she needed to change the way in which she communicated with her dog. Yuandi found Animal Behavior College and immediately decided to pursue her dog training education. Simultaneously, she began her dog walking career and started to apply the skills she was learning at ABC to her walking clients. Yuandi enjoys fulfilling the mental and exercise stimulations dogs need in their daily lives. It was through one of her walking clients that she met Kelly and began her ABC externship with Kelly and the 4otf training team, shadowing classes, handling dogs and further developing her skills. Yuandi is eager to apply her knowledge and skills to 4otf dog walking clients, reinforcing what they have learned through 4otf training while on their walks. She loves seeing the pups thrive both with their humans and out in the world.
Elianna Bernstein
Dog Sitter, Trainer Assistant
After graduating college from the University of Kansas during Covid I was unsure of what the future would hold. I got my bachelors in Psychology and thought I wanted to be a therapist. During Covid something changed when my family got our first dog and I immediately fell in love. I started working at a doggy day care and knew that was the path for me. After a year of working in doggy day cares, walking dogs, and dog sitting I decided to take it to the next level and become a certified dog trainer through CATCH (CCDT) and couldn’t be happier. I can’t wait to continue learning about dogs and enriching their lives. Dogs truly are a man’s best friend.
